About the Artist

Wendy C. Nooney is an artist and illustrator currently residing in Albany, NY. She worked for over 20 years in the advertising industry before pursuing an independent career as an artist and illustrator. She has exhibited in several group shows in and around the Hudson Valley Region of New York and in Vermont. She currently works as an illustrator for clients in the US and Europe.
Wendy’s work is inspired by nature and she uses painting as a way of capturing the beauty of the landscapes and objects around her. Focusing on light and shapes, she paints mainly in watercolor or acrylic, using paper and primed wood panels as her painting surfaces. |
